Variant Configuration SAP, SCE/IPC

A core business of ORISA is to provide configuration solutions based on SAP technologies. In various scenarios of the project cycle, we use the R/3 internal variant configurator (VC) on the one hand and the external configuration components IPC / SCE on the other hand. Thereby, we draw on our experiences gained from a multitude of customer projects.

To build and formulate configuration models, ORISA uses the VC modeling language. We place great value on compatibility and operability of the models in the configurator IPC / SCE as well as in VC. Our implemented modeling tools and constructs are especially suited to effectively illustrate complex models.

To execute the models with VC in SAP R/3 we utilize the standard technologies of SAP R/3. ORISA supports both high-level configurations in the SD document processing and low-level configurations in production-related processes through data administration and adaptation. (Customizing)

Increasingly, VC is implemented in sales environments within IPC scenarios - for example, SAP CRM and SAP VMS.

ORISA focuses mainly on projects to implement IPC / SCE within the sales process. For our customers this presents the following advantages:

- Ability to integrate IPC in various scenarios and application environments.
- To a great extent adjustability of the interface and functionality to customer requirements
- Utilization of a technology associated with the J2EE standard.

ORISA offers the following services:

Modeling of configurable materials, compatible for VC and IPC
- Structuring and implementation of the complete rule set.
- Development and maintenance of the materials, inventory lists, classes, features and object dependencies.
Adaptation and expansion of the interface and functionality of the IPC (web application) as well as
  SCE-Swing-UI (pure Java)
- BProvide versions of the IPC (Web UI) and SCE Swing UI that can be launched directly from CD-ROM.
