Ticketing
The Challenge
In various radio and television broadcasts tickets for a variety of cultural events
are regularly raffled off. Thus an application for managing these tickets, as well
as a number of supplementary data needed to be developed.
There could not be a rigidly programmed user interface. What's more, it had to be
possible to adapt the user interface quickly to shifting demands. This was especially
necessary because with this solution, new paths for the operating organization would
be tested. Data scope and work processes might still need to be corrected.
The operation of the application had to be intuitive and very easy to use.
The Solution: liveLOOK browser und designer
The editorial staff of a radio or television station can check the ticketing administrator
to get a quick overview of the number of previously awarded, or even free tickets.
When the raffle is done, the name and address of the winner is captured.
New events and free tickets can be collected. In addition, information on the events,
the venue, the organizers and participating artists are entered.
In order to accelerate capture of the individual events, fill in help can be defined and stored.
Apart from managing the tickets, data on recording of events are captured.
If there is a larger number of events with similar changes to process, the liveLOOK group
processing ticket management will be activated. In this mode, all events to be modified
are marked. For example, if the change is made to a chosen event. When saving, this
will automatically affect all the others.
Furthermore, it is possible to generate reports from selected data from the database
using Crystal Reports®.
