Enhancement and adaptation of a B2B system for the configuration of pumps

One of the leading companies in the field of pumps and pump systems world-wide, WILO AG, implemented a new B2B system for sales of underwater pumps with the help of ORISA Software GmbH.

The "WILO EMU-Shop" offers WILO subsidiaries the possibility to custom configure pumps and submit quotes to clients in their own language. Orders to WILO are directly initiated over this B2B system and passed on to production. Thus WILO is able to quickly respond to the needs of the world market and expand its lead over the competition.

The B2B system is built on the SAP Internet sales shop system with the SAP^® IPC configuration application. ORISA enhanced the system's customer-oriented functions and designed a more user-friendly interface. ORISA furthermore developed and integrated a translation scenario based on "ORISA liveLOOK," with which offer text is managed in any language.
