Knowledge Integrated Manufacturing

By using the liveLOOK knowledge integrated manufacturing (KIM) application, a knowledge database was developed for management of technological knowledge. It supports the collection, review and retrieval of knowledge in a semantic network of concepts, relations and documents (workplace skills team). Is based on the LiveLOOK semantics application module.

At the same time, this application supports the linking of SAP operations with additional information. This information is staged directly on the machine through a web application (workplace documents).

Materials, work schedules, orders, operations and quality data are imported from SAP R / 3, into the liveLOOK database on a configurable interface. Mapping of the SAP orders even within the KIM solution allow different knowledge database production areas to be used independently from each other. By using this application a high level of security and a stable high yield can be reached.
