The Mit\u00adtel\u00adstand-Digi\u00adtal Zen\u00adtrum Ilmen\u00adau, ORISA Soft\u00adware GmbH<\/a>, Con\u00ads\u00adtancy GmbH<\/a> and MDZ Mag\u00adde\u00adburg<\/a> loo\u00adked at the manage\u00adment of pro\u00adduct data in three events at the begin\u00adning of the year. The focus was on infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon that is par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlar\u00adly rele\u00advant for e\u2011commerce solu\u00adti\u00adons and pro\u00adduct con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtors. In the first event, Mat\u00adthi\u00adas Pohl from the Mit\u00adtel\u00adstand-Digi\u00adtal Zen\u00adtrum Mag\u00adde\u00adburg sum\u00adma\u00adri\u00adzed the topics of mas\u00adter data, data struc\u00adtures and data sources in his over\u00adview pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon and show\u00aded ways in which a com\u00adpa\u00adny can take dif\u00adfe\u00adrent approa\u00adches to coll\u00adec\u00adting, struc\u00adtu\u00adring and pre\u00adpa\u00adring data. Ms. M\u00f6h\u00adwald from the Mit\u00adtel\u00adstand-Digi\u00adtal Zen\u00adtrum Ilmen\u00adau took the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to point out the various fun\u00adding oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties for medi\u00adum-sized com\u00adpa\u00adnies that they can take advan\u00adta\u00adge of when deal\u00ading with digi\u00adtal trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The second event focu\u00adsed enti\u00adre\u00adly on data and data struc\u00adtures for e\u2011commerce solu\u00adti\u00adons. Tobi\u00adas Reich, Mana\u00adging Direc\u00adtor of con\u00ads\u00adtancy GmbH, was an expert on this topic and was able to go into gre\u00adat detail about the neces\u00adsi\u00adty of cor\u00adrect data for web\u00adshops.
He also explai\u00adned cle\u00adar\u00adly which data is requi\u00adred as a mini\u00admum and which data is nee\u00added for a tru\u00adly suc\u00adcessful web\u00adshop. In the dis\u00adcus\u00adsion, the various mar\u00adket\u00adplaces were dis\u00adcus\u00adsed and the ext\u00adent to which a store ope\u00adra\u00adtor has to limit hims\u00adelf the\u00adre due to the spe\u00adci\u00adfied con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons. Ano\u00adther exci\u00adting topic con\u00adcer\u00adned the opti\u00admiza\u00adti\u00adon of web\u00adshops for the search algo\u00adrith\u00adms on the Inter\u00adnet and the con\u00adside\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon of pro\u00adduct pla\u00adce\u00adments ope\u00adra\u00adted by com\u00adpe\u00adting store ope\u00adra\u00adtors.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In the third part of the event series, Mat\u00adthi\u00adas Schwuchow, Mana\u00adging Direc\u00adtor of ORISA Soft\u00adware GmbH, tal\u00adked about the pos\u00adsi\u00adble appli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons of con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtors and from uni\u00adque pro\u00adduct expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces to effi\u00adci\u00adent, fault\u00adless con\u00adsul\u00adting. He began by explai\u00adning the dif\u00adfe\u00adrence bet\u00adween a pro\u00adduct con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor and CPQ<\/a> and that, in his view, the\u00adre is no real dif\u00adfe\u00adrence. In order to under\u00adstand how a pro\u00adduct con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor is crea\u00adted, he first explai\u00adned a step-by-step approach to set\u00adting up a con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor from dif\u00adfe\u00adrent per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adves. As a result of the\u00adse con\u00adside\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons, he was able to explain some key func\u00adtions that are rele\u00advant for a com\u00adpa\u00adny when sel\u00adec\u00adting a CPQ sys\u00adtem. In the next topic area, the audi\u00adence lear\u00adned whe\u00adre the data for a pro\u00adduct con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor can come from and what the sin\u00adgle source of data or true source of data is all about. The idea of inte\u00adgra\u00adti\u00adon natu\u00adral\u00adly plays a cen\u00adtral role here, which was dis\u00adcus\u00adsed in detail in the pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon. In the second part of the after\u00adnoon, Mr. Schwuchow used various examp\u00adles to show the other ways in which con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtors can be used. The\u00adse ran\u00adged from the clas\u00adsic parts list con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor to a spa\u00adre parts con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor and a ser\u00advice con\u00adtract con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adtor. Fur\u00adther\u00admo\u00adre, the com\u00adplex topic of mul\u00adti-level con\u00adfi\u00adgu\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon was addres\u00adsed and at the end the\u00adre was an excur\u00adsi\u00adon into the pro\u00adcess view of a CPQ sys\u00adtem with map\u00adping of com\u00adple\u00adte ETO<\/a> pro\u00adces\u00adses across seve\u00adral depart\u00adments of a com\u00adpa\u00adny.<\/p>\n<\/div>
