The ORISA Soft\u00adware GmbH teams held a team day in Jena\u00ad\u2019s city forest on June 15, 2023 \u2014 true to the mot\u00adto: many want to plant trees \u2014 but fewer want to care for them. For our teams, it was all about the sus\u00adtainable care of small seed\u00adlings that were plan\u00adted four years ago. We were able to see very cle\u00adar\u00adly that wit\u00adhout care, the litt\u00adle trees have no chan\u00adce of res\u00adto\u00adring the forest. After all, sus\u00adtaina\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty requi\u00adres regu\u00adlar com\u00admit\u00adment. So off we went with pru\u00adning she\u00adars, seca\u00adteurs and wate\u00adring cans to a north-facing slo\u00adpe in the west of Jena with a view of the Son\u00adnen\u00adber\u00adge moun\u00adta\u00adins. Under the expert gui\u00addance of Jena\u00ad\u2019s city forestry depart\u00adment, our teams were able to res\u00adto\u00adre some sil\u00adver fir and oak sap\u00adlings to their for\u00admer glo\u00adry by pru\u00adning the plants that did\u00adn\u2019t belong the\u00adre. And the 2,000 liters of water pou\u00adred will hop\u00adeful\u00adly help the litt\u00adle trees to actual\u00adly grow into magni\u00adfi\u00adcent trees one day. Some of us will cer\u00adtain\u00adly now wan\u00adder through the forest more often and more atten\u00adtively. And the spe\u00adci\u00adfic places whe\u00adre our teams were acti\u00adve will cer\u00adtain\u00adly also be obser\u00adved.<\/p>\n

In the after\u00adnoon, a big fami\u00adly par\u00adty was held on the grounds of the new\u00adly ope\u00adned \u2018forum natu\u00adra\u2019 natu\u00adre expe\u00adri\u00adence cen\u00adter on Jena\u00ad\u2019s Schott\u00adplatz. The ORI\u00adSAn\u00aders were invi\u00adted along with their part\u00adners and child\u00adren. The grounds were a beau\u00adtiful play\u00adground with ple\u00adnty of space for the child\u00adren to run around. The adults enjoy\u00aded the sweets and cakes they had brought along and the food and drinks from the cate\u00adrer, as well as a gui\u00added tour through the Jena Forest \u2014 inclu\u00adding forest bathing with all the sen\u00adses. With so much to do and so many con\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adons, the after\u00adnoon pas\u00adsed far too quick\u00adly and we hope it will be repea\u00adted.
