On February 27,2024, <\/span>the VDMA will host the 13th Variant Management Conference in Langen. This year\u2019s theme is <\/span>\u201cBalancing Quality, Costs, and Product Variants.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, the mechanical and plant engineering industry faces global challenges in meeting individual customer requirements; batch size 1 is increasingly becoming the norm. The growing complexity and an increasing range of product variants impact every aspect of the company, from sales to design, purchasing, production, and even service.<\/p>\n

IT-supported, holistic variant management can provide valuable assistance, as the data is available to all those involved across departments. This optimizes processes, creates transparency and keeps quality, costs and delivery schedules under control.<\/p>\n
