Today and every day we celebrate the incredible global contributions of women around the world.<\/p>\n

The latest figures from a Bitkom survey on women in the ICT sector in 2023 speak a clear language: the proportion of women among IT professionals in technology and telecommunications companies is only 5%, while the overall proportion of women in the ICT sector in 2023 is 15% on average. These figures highlight the existing challenge and the importance of encouraging the participation of women in these fields. At ORISA, we recognize the important role that women play in shaping the future of technology. That is why we are not only proud of the almost 40% quota of women in our company, we take it for granted.<\/p>\n

On this day, we would like to highlight a long-standing employee who has made an inspiring journey from software developer to project and team leader at ORISA since 2008. Katrin Rudolf is a living example of commitment, talent and perseverance. Her development reflects how women can flourish in the tech industry when given the opportunity to reach their full potential. In her own words, Katrin Rudolf emphasizes that the dynamics in the male-dominated IT industry have changed. She firmly believes that the real obstacle is not the lack of acceptance of women in the tech world, but rather the lack of interest among young women to choose a career in technology. Motivation and female role models in leadership positions are required to show women from an early age that technical careers are not only possible, but exciting, diverse and full of opportunities.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we not only want to celebrate the achievements of our female employees, but also actively encourage women to take their place in the IT industry to help shape the future of technology.<\/p>\n

We will continue to support women in the tech industry \u2014 not just today, but every day!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
