The newly developed model page of the Porsche Design Timepieces Configurator marks another important milestone in the evolution of the luxury watch brand\u2019s digital presence. Combining a clean, modern interface with structured user guidance, high performance, and significantly improved information architecture, it creates a user experience that reflects the premium standards of the Porsche Design brand both visually and functionally.<\/p>\n

Digital Clarity for a Strong Brand Presence<\/h3>\n

As part of the comprehensive redesign of the configurator<\/a>, the model page was rebuilt from the ground up to consistently extend the configurator\u2019s modernized look and feel while further enhancing the overall user experience. Through close collaboration between ORISA and our customer Porsche<\/a> Design, a new model page was created that offers a substantially improved user experience. The result is a solution that is more clearly structured, visually refined, and tailored to the expectations of a discerning target audience. For the first time, the model page integrates seamlessly with the new user interface while benefiting from a technically up-to-date architecture. <\/span>The transition to new data sources powered by the Web PDM system enables a more consistent and premium presentation of watch models. At the same time, the interface has become significantly more intuitive on mobile devices. Another key aspect of the redesign was the consideration of accessibility standards (ADA), ensuring that all users can enjoy an optimal and accessible entry point into the configurator.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The new model page<\/a> also introduces several features that were not previously available, making the overall process much easier for prospective customers. Information about individual watch models can now be presented in a more structured and detailed way, considerably improving orientation across the product portfolio. For the first time, users can load existing configurations directly from the model page, significantly accelerating the journey toward a personalized timepiece. <\/span>A newly introduced \u201cLearn More\u201d button integrates additional content from the Porsche Design online store. Because this content is centrally maintained in the PDM system, it remains up to date at all times. <\/span>The model page has also been fully internationalized and is now available in several additional languages, including Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.<\/span><\/p>\n

The implementation of the project required close and continuous collaboration between ORISA and Porsche Design. A particularly important aspect was the integration of the PAG Library, which provides new UI components and ensures a consistent visual alignment with the configurator, the Porsche AG Internet Car Configurator, and the broader Porsche digital ecosystem. <\/span>In addition, Porsche Design provided detailed layout specifications that were implemented by ORISA with great precision. Throughout the project, the shared goal was to create an experience that not only excels functionally but also reflects the premium character of the brand through its visual presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Project Manager Claudia Pittelkow emphasizes that the success of the relaunch was primarily driven by the team\u2019s collaborative effort: \u201cWe worked together at an impressive pace while maintaining close alignment with Porsche Design Timepieces throughout the entire project. This strong team dynamic was a key factor in the project\u2019s success.\u201d <\/span>She highlights how everyone involved, from modeling to final UI implementation, worked toward a common goal and remained closely connected with the customer at every stage. According to Pittelkow, this partnership-based approach was crucial, ranging from jointly developing content and product information to designing solutions for areas that had not been fully defined in the original layout specifications. <\/span>One aspect she is particularly proud of is the clarity of the final result: <\/span>\u201cEvery model can now be reached with a single click, without users having to navigate through distracting or cluttered interfaces.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Ready for the Next Stage of Evolution<\/h3>\n

The new model page also lays the foundation for future developments that Porsche Design and ORISA are planning together. Our customer continues to contribute new ideas, which will be implemented step by step over the coming months. Several enhancements are already in planning and are expected to deliver an even more premium user experience in future releases.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the introduction of the new model page, the Porsche Design Configurator gains a new level of digital brand aesthetics, technical precision, and user-friendliness.
