THE PROJECT

Siemens Building Technologies, a division of Siemens Schweiz AG, combines offerings for building security, building automation and economical building operation in one company – both as a service provider and supplier of complete systems, customised individual solutions and manufacturer of relevant products.

ORISA Software developed the HVAC Integrated Tool (HIT) for Siemens in 2008. As a simple yet intelligent tool, HIT enables you to select and document any HVAC control pendant through an intuitive sequence of steps – whether as a stand-alone product or in a system configuration.

Developed in 2013, the combi valve app is used to select valves and matching actuators and helps salespeople, installers, planners and engineers to choose the right combi valves.

With the redesign of the user interface implemented by ORISA in 2014, Responsive Web Design was also implemented, which ensures comfortable and always ergonomically sensible work on all common end devices. The integration of further functionalities such as the use of favourites as well as the improved presence of the extensive catalogue and the “Old2New” exchange help directly on the homepage could also be implemented within the redesign. The Scan to HIT app allows you to instantly look up information such as product descriptions or technical specifications and download data sheets from the respective product.

The Highly Integrated Tool is currently used in 21 countries using 11 languages.
