ORISA is an innovative company in the software sector and has been active in the fields of product configuration, CPQ, CRM and knowledge management for 30 years. ORISA’s software products and solutions are used successfully by leading companies worldwide. In addition to implementing configuration solutions, ORISA provides technology-independent consultancy on product structuring, product modularisation, variant management, process integration and database solutions. ORISA’s clients include, amongst others, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, MAN Truck & Bus AG, Siemens Switzerland AG, Viessmann Climate Solutions SE and Carl Zeiss AG.
The founders of ORISA have backgrounds at ZEISS and IBM. One of ORISA’s first major contracts was a knowledge-based solution for work plan generation for ZEISS, which remains at the heart of optical production to this day. It was from this and similar projects, such as the train configurator for Siemens, that the expertise required to develop high-performance configuration solutions, culminating in the standard product CREALIS®, was built up. CREALIS® serves as a feature-rich CPQ platform for configurators in medical technology, industrial metrology, vehicle and equipment manufacturing, machine tool manufacturing, building services engineering and other sectors of mechanical and plant engineering.
